b) Update on the repair to the footpath and recreation bollards – The bollards have been repaired and the new barriers for the car park have been ordered

305. Reports from Outside Bodies: To receive reports from Councillors a) Colchester Association of Local Councils. No meeting until December ‘18 b) Village Hall Management Committee. Meeting next week c) School Governors. No meeting d) Quarry Liaison Group. No meeting e) Footpath/Tree Warden/Hedgerow Officer. Closure of footpath 29 f) Bus Passenger Representative Cllr D. Chambers informed the meeting that he had been to a Bus Passenger Transport Meeting at the Town Hall where they discussed the new bus stops in town and if you have not seen the leaflet that has been going around it basically means for us is that you can get off and get on the 65 at Head St by Fenwicks also – Queen St – Bus Station and the end of Crouch St. but not at St John’s St.
The 70/71 will be the same as far as he can make out, he hopes this helps a little to make it clear. The Next point that he asked about was the bus stop opposite The Princess Charlotte it seems to cause a problem on London Rd, CBC and the Bus Companies say they can do nothing as it is up to ECC, but they seem to think it is not a problem but then they would. Next, he asked the new bus routes through Wyvern Farm Development and was told there were no plans for a bus through this development even though it shows it on the Site plans that were passed by CBC. The same goes for the Development off Dyers Rd. Clerk to send a letter of disapproval to ECC and CBC g) Local Communities Action Panel. Nothing to report
306. Consider change to Standing Orders To consider the recommendation from Policy & Finance to change the three standing Committees to; Policy & Finance, Planning and Parks & Recreation. After a lengthy discussion Cllr J. Spademan proposed to defer this item to the next Full Council meeting. Cllr D. Bloomfield seconded. All Agreed
307. Information Update To receive oral updates from Members on matters affecting the Parish. Cllr C. Spademan spoke about the quiz night and asked Councillors to form a team. Parish Council must only use the rooms after them being booked via the VHMC. To be placed on P&F meeting.
308. Items for Committees/ Next Council Meeting To receive and consider requests for items to be included on Agendas for Committees or Council. Cllr T. Baines requests that an item for the Agenda of Matters Arising from previous meeting.
